Heavy workout Sai

I had a chance to use a large heavy pair of Sai at friends dojo they were between 1.2kg and 2kg each and were used slowly to build strength in the wrist, forearm and shoulder among other things. So set my week end project to build a pair using what stock mild steel i happened to have on hand.  This resulted in what you see below each Sai are about 1.55kg each made from square solid steel as I had stock, edges were rounded to allow easy rolling between extended and retracted grips. Some further tweaking will be needed to increase the angle of the Yoku(side guards) flaring them out a little
