Finding the way

The below post comes form Okinawa Times about my Kobudo teacher Kaicho Takashi Kinjo who is renowned across Japan and the world for his relentless and detailed study in to martial arts mastery and the importance continued training and evolution of understanding to grow 

The below exerts were taken from an Okinawa times article from a few years, and are great description of Koburyu philosophy.

"If you do not continue to evolve, you will only wither away.  ...The power of thinking, the pursuit of mind and technique.

"A thousands days of practice is forging, ten thousand days of practice is for refinement". 

Takashi Kinjo uses these words from Miyamoto Muashi to emphasize the importance of continued training and practice over time then following up with

"If you are too attached to tradition, you will not be able to delve deeply into your techniques"
